Charlotte Conwy

BSc (Hons), Lic Ac, MBAcC

Charlotte trained at The College of Integrated Chinese Medicine earning a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture and practices an integrated style of acupuncture, combining Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Islington and Hackney. She is currently furthering her knowledge of manual therapies by working towards a diploma in Tuina (Chinese therapeutic massage).

With a special interest in fertility, pregnancy and postnatal care, Charlotte has undertaken postgraduate training courses in Obstetrics, Gynaecology & Fertility and has attended births, providing support during labour. She is experienced at working with individuals at all stages of their fertility journey (including pre-conception and IVF preparation) and beyond.

Through her work, Charlotte is keen to explore the mind / body connection and has trained with trauma specialist Dr Gabor Maté and completed further training in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and Reiki. She focuses on creating a space in which clients can relax and discuss all aspects of their health and lifestyles; then tailors individual treatment plans, incorporating dietary and lifestyle advice in order to empower those she works with to become masters of their own wellbeing, whilst supporting them emotionally on their journey.

She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) and as such adheres to the highest of standards in training and professionalism.
