Marian Fixler

Marian has been in practice since 1991 and has extensive experience of supporting women who are trying to conceive and women at all stages of their pregnancy. She has attended a number of births in the past. She combines acupuncture, tuina massage, nutritional advice and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to improve all aspects of physical and emotional health and wellbeing.

After qualifying in TCM style, Marian did further clinical training in China. She has since specialised in Japanese acupuncture systems and has completed further training in Japan, the Netherlands and the UK. She taught for many years as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster and now teaches at post-graduation level in this country and overseas and organizes courses for practitioners.

Further Studies in Obstetric Acupuncture – Debra Betts
Treatment of Infertility & Chinese Medicine – Jane Lyttleton
Marian attended and gave a paper at the First International Integrated Acupuncture Seminars for Fertility and Obstetrics at the Royal College of Physicians – integrating Chinese and Western Medicine.

As one of the founder members of ACT London, she regularly attends meetings and is involved in arranging speakers to come and speak to the group on a broad range of pregnancy related topics.

Marian works in private practice and has worked on the NHS in GP surgeries for a number of years. She also worked in organisations treating people with immune related conditions.
