Marina has been running her acupuncture clinic since 2004, with a special interest in women’s health, covering all aspects of pre-conception gynaecology and fertility, including IVF support, treatment of uterine fibroids, endometriosis, PCOS, hormonal regulation, and male fertility issues.
A special interest in obstetrics came naturally into her repertoire; she provides pregnancy support acupuncture from the early days through to getting ready for labour and during the fragile post-partum period and teaches “Acupressure for Labour” to birthing partners in the last weeks of pregnancy.
After birth, the focus of treatment splits into two (and often even three – mother, baby, and father!). She has studied Shonishin, a very gentle yet powerful massage-like technique developed in Japan specifically for treating babies and children.
She worked as general health acupuncturise within a complementary health charity for people who would not otherwise be able to afford complementary therapies.
Whenever necessary, Marina offers Chinese herbal remedies to complement and enhance acupuncture treatment.
